Everything is just PERFECT at this bnb, including location and rooms. Truly enjoyed dining at osteria ae sconte, set within 5 minutes' walk. Don't know any better place than Canaletto.
-
It is undoubtedly a classic option when in Venice. We loved this hotel and its very good amenities and location. Very clean & comfortable bed.

Lovely beds!
you guys made our stay excellent. position only a short distance to everything we need, like grand canal. it was close to bacino orseolo. 21 minutes by car from the airport.
-

Small, very nice hotel - like almost all of it
No comments, of course Venice is expensive city
-
Very welcoming staff. Ok room and daily cleaning. Breakfast average but not bad.
I thought that the sheets were clean and the room clean but they should also wash the bedspread and the blanket between visitors. The bedspread was decidely grubby.

really a great place to stay in Venice
breakfast has a room for improvement

The ambience was incredible; beautiful 18th century Venetian rooms hung with damask with floor to ceiling 18 foot windows swathed in luxurious fabrics overlooking gondolas in the canal directly under your window. The room was utterly soundproofed and decorated with handpainted furnishings most elegantly. Central to everything, only 3 minutes to San Marco and the Rialto and surrounded by excellent dining venues. The staff were super efficient and went out of their way to be helpful and they were genuinely friendly with excellent English. Couldn't speak highly enough of it.
-
The double room was larger than others I've been in in Venice and was furnished in period style with high ceilings and typical padded cloth walls. The room had a free safe to use and all the facilities were in working order. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Given that we were staying on the "Redentore" weekend when Venice was very full, we were lucky to find this hotel at this price. Recommended.

Location is good once you find the hotel on arriving! outdoor court for breakfast was welcomed.
Breakfast abit light compared to other 3* hotels. House keeping also below expectations.
-
The hotel is in a great location...actually much easier to find than expected...in a quiet area centrally located between the Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square. The hotel is a good clean well run 3 star without any pretense of trying to be more than that rating.
Breakfast is adequate though not exceptional. No public areas to speak of.
-
The friendly service especially from the front desk and the location was great very central
-
Good location, clean with a generally helpful staff.
I think it's a little pricey, but it is Venice, I suppose. Only 3 basic shortcomings: (1) no elevator; (2) the room had only an armoir with some clothes hangars, with no storage drawers or shelves for clothing and no dressers - we lived out of our suitcases for our 4 day stay; (3) had a 2:30 am wake up scheduled for a 3:40 am water taxi ride to the airport for an early morning flight departure. I checked twice that it was scheduled -- nevertheless, no one called to wake us up -- thankfully we were nervous and woke on our own or we would have missed our flight! Is there no automated system????

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was good - very clean and towels changed daily and was in a very good position geographically - a few minutes walk from Rialto Bridge with lots of restaurants/bars/cafes/shops nearby. Approx 15 minutes walk to San Marco Square - in fact overall would classify Canaletto Hotel as excellent value for money and would recommend it.
-
excellent location very close to the main points of interest, magical atmosphere, very friendly staff, excellent value for money if I will ever go to Venice again, I will definitely stay at this hotel
